FEASIBILITY STUDY
February 2, 2024 - Feast of the Presentation of the Lord
Brothers and Sisters,
As we look to the future of St. Kateri Tekawitha Catholic Community, it is important that we all continue to be a part of shaping that future. With the blessing of Bishop Alberto Rojas, our Finance Council, Pastoral Council, Expansion Committee, and parish staff, I would like to announce that we are moving forward with a Feasibility Study. This process is designed to engage the parishioners of St. Kateri Tekawitha and to ensure that we, as a parish community, are committed to our continued growth and development. I believe that our success has come from collaborating and working together to make St. Kateri Tekawitha the parish it is today. The following ideas have been collectively discussed.
* Construct a new church on our parish property
* Provide additional parking on our parish campus
Such an effort requires thoughtful planning to ensure success. To assist us, the parish has retained Guidance In Giving, a Catholic development firm, to implement the Feasibility Study. Joseph Zamorano will be the Guidance In Giving representative working with our parish.
I am seeking the advice of our parishioners and your participation is vital. Beginning on Wednesday, January 31st and concluding on Friday, February 23rd, the personal interview phase of the study will be ongoing. As an integral and active member of our parish community, I personally invite you to participate in this phase of our study. These interviews will take no more than an hour and I feel it is important that you know that your input will only be provided to Guidance In Giving staff and will not be made available directly to myself or any other parish staff member. To help us set the interview schedule, I ask that you contact the church office at (951) 845-2849 or email StKateriPlanningStudy@gmail.com to arrange a time convenient for you. The meetings can be arranged weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. I have enclosed a list of the questions that will be reviewed with you and ask that you please look them over prior to your interview.
Based on thoughts and opinions of parishioners, the firm will guide us in formulating a plan of action and will make recommendations regarding our next steps moving forward. Your opinions, along with those of your fellow parishioners, are very important and will help us to shape the vision of our future.
Thank you in advance for your counsel and I ask that you please keep our endeavors in your prayers.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Dennis Legaspi
Pastor
